The new Jamiatul Ummah website has been launched.

Jamiatul Ummah's new web site has been launched.

The site is based on the enterprise level content management system TYPO3, and was developed through a partnership between the school and Gate Seven.

The new site is highly representative of the school itself. It uses the best of modern technology to provide advanced facilities for pupils, staff, and visitors.

By using a content management system, the site offers the opportunity for people whose skills lie outside the internet world, particularly students and teachers, to expand the site themselves.

Much of the power of the site is hidden behind the scenes. Teachers and trustees have a powerful, but private, forum system, which allows them to discuss issues about the school in a structured and co-operative way.

Teachers are able to upload teaching materials to the site, so that students can access them from anywhere in the world that has an internet connection.
